About
About YouTube Playlist Tools
YouTube Playlist Tools is a small collection of utilities for people who plan learning, research, editing, or review sessions around YouTube playlists.
The main calculator adds up public playlist video durations and shows total watch time at normal speed and faster speeds. Other tools help export playlist metadata, extract video links, and copy playlist IDs.
What the site is for
The tools are designed for practical planning: estimating how long a course playlist will take, comparing normal and faster playback speeds, preparing CSV files for spreadsheets, and saving clean lists of public video URLs.
Data source and limits
Calculations use public YouTube playlist metadata available at the time a playlist is analyzed. Private, deleted, region-blocked, members-only, or otherwise unavailable videos may not include duration. The site does not bypass YouTube access controls and does not require a visitor to sign in to a YouTube account.
Independence
YouTube Playlist Tools is an independent utility site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or Alphabet. YouTube names and URLs are used only to describe compatible public playlist inputs.
